I like to see the echo because its was also yam laranas who directed this one and also iza calzado's debut in holly wood. I've seen a trailer of this some time ago.

I can't wait to see "The Echo" as this is a much-awaited first Hollywood remake of the Pinoy blockbuster horror movie, "Sigaw." Jesse Bradford seems like a good actor.

yay! az this is a very interesting movie. but of course, Iza Calzado plays the horrifying ghost and our very own director, Yam Laranas, also took part in this movie. i hope i can watch this too!

this is the only Pinoy horror movie which I bought on video and really watched!
i hardly watch horror movies! and to discover that it has a Hollywood remake! so proud for Yam and Iza! Can't wait to watch this version!

Az, I love that Movie. And It's my birthday on the 25th. That will be the perfect birthday gift for me!

The original movie was great and I would just die to see the American remake. And I do have a thing for Iza Calzado who will be making an appearance in the movie as well.

im back with my blogging activities now that I have time for these kind of events and my net connection is finally fixed, I'm also excited to watch a US version of our very own "Sigaw" and this is something new that I wanted to see because usually it was us who do the remake of series from other countries.

The original version is great and I wanted to see the remake if it's better or not!

One good reason why we, Pinoys, should watch this movie in cinema, AND NOT ON PIRATED DVDs, is because, and for the nth time, this will surely bring such a great pride and honor to our movie industry, in which , for all we know, is not in good shape.

I hope I'll get a chance to catch this movie. I'm sure that I'll be very proud to tell to my family and friends on how good this movie is and that they really, really have to watch it.

i saw the trailer in the movie house watching the grudge 3 and i think the echo would be a better hair raising experience. looking forward to watch it when it hits the big screen

If only all of our original local films have unique concept and storyline like Sigaw, then we can make it internationally successful as well. Its nice to know that there is a remake of the film, maybe this American version is more scary than Sigaw. I want to see the difference. LoL...

It's good to hear that The Echo is coming out here. This makes me proud of our fellow Filipinos. Can you believe it--a Hollywood remake of a Pinoy Horror Film.. I saw the trailer, and I've seen the Richard-Angel Movie version, and I'm excited to see what Hollywood did to the movie..

In an Interview of Yam Laranas, the writer, director and cinematographer of the movie Echo, he said that he was "indirectly inspired" by Ringu. However, the major inspiration for him was a murder scene Yam saw personally in his aparment building where he saw the victim's blood all over the elevator and even leading trails up to the main lobby. I got this information from a website about horror movies and posted by deadmanwalkin. Totally creepy!

I want to watch Echo because I want to see which movie is better. If the tagalog version is better than the Echo (english version). I watched sigaw and I can truly say that it was superbly done. I wonder if I can say the same thing to The Echo.

I have seen Sigaw when I was 4th yr High School I think? Never been a fan of horror movies but this movie is worth watching considering that it will be another milestone for Philippine Cinema... Kudos to the makers of Echo! :)

ohh, now I am more curious to watch echo, it didn't caught my attention before and I was a bit lazy to check out its synopsis, but since now I know that it was a First Hollywood Remake of a Pinoy Blockbuster Movie then I think this would be a very good reason for me to watch out for it!!!

THE ECHO is a great pre-Halloween movie treat for barakadas. I'm expecting a more horrific (from the word - horror. LOL) and well directed remake of the blockbuster sigaw. Congrats also for Director Yam Larasan for this movie.

I hope there are still free tickets for me and my two friends.

I haven't seen Sigaw yet but I'd love to see the remake anyway because of Direk Yam Laranas. I thought his NatGeo documentary "Asia's Titanic" was really good.
